Summer is just around the corner and that means that we are officially entering event season. Last week the NorCal People Rock HR team kicked off the season with our first big event of the year, California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP) Golf Tournament at The Ridge in Auburn, CA.
CAHIP is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the health, financial, and retirement security of all Californians. CAHIP works to achieve their goal through education, advocacy, legislation, and professional development.
At People Rock HR we do not offer services in the insurance and retirement realm, but we find it important to align ourselves with leaders in those fields. This allows us to provide all encompassing HR support and consulting to our clients by allowing us to refer our clients to the experts that they need.
People Rock HR sponsored a tee where we handed out snacks and drinks, ran a ring toss game, and chatted with the golfers while they waited to tee off.
We were able to see our friends in the healthcare space and make connections with different health insurance brokers, health insurance companies, financial technology companies specializing in retirement funds, and Professional Employer Organizations (PEO). With many of these different people we were able to discuss the various ways in which we can all work together to help all our clients.
Overall, it was a great day, and we are looking forward to more CAHIP events in the future.
