As an employer with 5+ employees, your employees have a right to Time Off for School Conferences Regarding Suspension. This is specifically for employees who need to appear at their child’s school for emergencies and/or regarding a child’s suspension from school.
As an employer with 25+ employees, your employees have a right to Time off for School Activities. This is intended for employees who are parents or guardians, to participate in the child’s activities or enroll a child in school or daycare (if the child is enrolled at a licensed daycare facility or in kindergarten through grade 12).
