As we head into handbook season, make sure you have captured any internal changes and share them with your HR Business Partner so that we can include them in your 2026 handbook update.
Something to keep in mind: Having a well-prepared handbook is only half the battle. Take some time to reflect on whether you are enforcing your company policies consistently. Policies which “sit on a shelf” and then are elected to be enforced on an inconsistent basis can create more exposure for you. If you are allowing more exceptions than actually following the rule, then you are setting a new rule or precedent.
